Fastest grower of the Oaks and one of the easiest to transplant. Good street or landscape tree. Dense, lustrous foliage. Leaves hang on to tree into winter. 1999 Iowa Tree of the year.

Care Instructions

Easily transplanted. Prefers moist, sandy loam, well-drained soil, slightly acidic, and full sun. Tolerant of city air pollutants. Prune in the fall.
